Dylan has definitely turned a corner. He now has a fussy time! He gets especially mad if you change him, clean him or move him. He enjoys being swaddled up as tightly as possible - I think he likes the warmth. He had his first visit with his pediatrician this week. He gained 11 ounces and 1 -3/4" in length. This bring his weight to 5lbs 11 oz, which is in the less than 5th percentile! What a tiny kid! His height is now 19 1/4" which is in the 19th percentile. His head is 30 1/2 cm, which is in the 31st percentile.
During one of Dylan's fussy times, Nicole put him on the floor with his new play mat and he really enjoyed it. He even kicked and moved his arms around a bit. So that was exciting.
Brooks and Maddie are enjoying Dylan more and more. I put them all on the floor tonight to play. They are so silly.
Brooks came to work with me while Nicole took Maddie and Dylan to the doctor. He did really good, except he kept asking me who was on the phone when I was talking to someone - which was a bit distracting. At one point, since my office is reatively quiet, Brooks turned around and said really loud "Hey, everybody!" When Nicole came to pick him up, he said "Daddy, I loved to go to work with you."
Maddie is constantly taking care of Dylan and her baby dolls. Nicole said today she laid Dylan down and Maddie placed two of her baby dolls beside him, one on each side. Nicole also caught Maddie pulling up her shirt and breastfeeding her baby dolls. She is so cute!
Nicole is doing much better, so we are very happy about that!
