Halloween and a trip to MeeMaw & Grandaddy's

We had a great time trick or treating with the kids -though both Nicole and I are happy its over for a year. Thursday, we went to 5 points downtown and walked to the merchants giving out candy. It was great fun for the kids - Maddie and Brooks were so into it. Maddie's back got so heavy that I held one handle while she held the other. Every once and a while, she would jerk it out of my hand so she could find a good piece of candy inside. Maddie loves the suckers, but she has failed to learn to swallow while the sucker is in her mouth. I pulled one out of her mouth that night and a baby's mouth full of purple colored sugary saliva went everywhere. It was gross. Brooks loves all of the candy - especially the chocolate. He'll take the suckers for about 2 minutes, after that, he's done with them and ready for the next thing. We found open suckers in his bag at the end of the night. Friday night, we went trick or treating in the neighborhood, then headed to each of my bosses' houses.
Following all that we went to the church. The youth were having a Halloween lock-in. Nicole stayed the night and I came home with the kids. Nicole had a lot of fun and the kids and I just came back and crashed.
Today, we decided to head down to MeeMaws and Grandaddy's house to see Justin, Chad, Eve, Bre, Chet, MeeMaw, Tim, Summer, and Grandaddy. We had a great time. Brooks and Maddie really enjoyed spending time with their cousins and grandparents. They especially enjoyed the trampoline. Brooks was a natural. Maddie loved running around in circles.
