Time for school!

Wow! It sure has been a while since we updated the blog! The kids are doing great. Brooks and Maddie both started school a few weeks ago. Brooks is going all day this year and Maddie is going 3 hours a day. Brooks is doing great and loves all the extra stuff like PE, art and music. He is getting to be such a big boy! Maddie had a few tough days when Gene dropped her off, but she is doing much better now and she seems to really love it now. Her teacher said she is doing great and really works hard. We are so very proud of both of them!

Dylan is doing well, too. He has been working on next two teeth (which will make 8!) so he has been very cranky, especially at 3 in morning. Hopefully tonight will be better. Other than that, he is doing great. He absolutely loves Maddie and Brooks and will laugh at them every chance he gets. He is really trying to figure out the whole crawling thing. He is getting close and will be on the move soon. I can only imagine all three of them chasing each other around the house! He has also started to babble now, saying ba ba ba all the time. He is so adorable!

Last weekend we decided to try to take all three kids to a Clemson game. It was pretty hot out and our tickets were on the upper deck, so we were sweltering out there. Dylan really didn't like the heat so he was pretty cranky. We made it to halftime and we were done! We were glad to be home that night and quite exhausted. That will probably be our last game for a while!
