Wow, what a fantastic time we had at the beach! Ocean Isle is a beautiful, quiet beach and the kids had a great time. The Priores made the very long trip down from Pittsburgh to spend the week with us. It was so great to see their beautiful family again. Ethan, Sophia, and Andrew (ages 4 1/2, 2 1/2, and 1) plus our clan made for a pretty crazy house but so much fun. Dylan was sick for the first couple of nights with a head cold and then Andrew got some other virus with some vomiting and diarrhea, so that part wasn't fun. We kept telling ourselves that it will only get easier from here on out, right?
The kids LOVED the beach. They were fearless in the water and loved playing with all the sand toys. Even Dylan enjoyed the beach putting his feet in the sand and water. He also slept really well in the stroller on the beach. We also had access to a pool which was a great option in the afternoon.
Now we are back to the daily grind. Gene is back at work and I am trying my best to raise my three crazy kids.
